The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Right Hon Benjamin Kalu has declared that All Progressive Congress, APC, will take over Abia State in 2027.
Kalu, while addressing his supporters on Sunday insisted that the huge allocation Dr Alex otti is receiving from Abuja is not commensurate with the level of projects on ground in the state.
Speaking further, Ben kalu said that as the opposition leader in Abia State he would continue to say the truth, and will not shy away from challenging the Abia state government with the truth.
According to him, Governor Otti has no excuse for failure after collecting ₦38 billion to ₦40 billion monthly from the same federal government he keeps badmouthing. He asked a simple but piercing question — “How can you compare yourself, who gets ₦40 billion, to someone who managed with ₦3 billion?”
He blasted the Otti-led government for wasting time on blame games instead of delivering concrete projects that touch lives. He reminded everyone that the Tinubu-led APC government has been pumping serious money into Abia — yet the streets still cry for attention, salaries are nothing to write home about, and the promised “new Abia” is fast turning into a “loud Abia with empty results.”
